Terms & conditions

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Platform: Buntico ("the Platform", "we", "us"), operated by Stuart Hooper, a sole trader trading as Buntico, of 4 Furlong Row, Clanfield, Bampton, Oxfordshire, OX18 2RW. Contact: hms1270@pm.me.

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern use of the Platform by every account type: Organisers (businesses that create and run events), Stall Holders (traders and exhibitors who book pitches at events), and Customers (members of the public who buy tickets). By creating an account or making a purchase you accept these terms. Additional terms apply to specific roles as set out below.

2. The Platform's role — read this section carefully

The Platform is a facilitation service. Events are organised, controlled and delivered by the relevant Organiser, not by the Platform. When a Stall Holder books a pitch or a Customer buys a ticket, the resulting contract for the event itself is between that person and the Organiser. The Platform provides the software, processes payments on the Organiser's behalf through our payment provider (Stripe), and passes funds to the Organiser, but is not a party to the event contract and is not responsible for the running, safety, quality or occurrence of any event.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or over to hold any account. Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure; administrator accounts must use the two-factor authentication we require. One person or business may not hold multiple accounts of the same type without our consent. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms (section 13).

4. Stall Holders

4.1 Compliance documents. You may upload insurance certificates and other compliance documents once and use them across bookings with any Organiser. You warrant that every document you upload is genuine, current, relates to your business, and that expiry dates you enter are accurate. Uploading falsified or altered documents is a material breach and grounds for immediate account termination and notification of affected Organisers.

4.2 Verification does not transfer your responsibility. Organisers review documents for their own booking purposes. Neither an Organiser's approval nor anything the Platform does relieves you of your own legal duty to hold valid insurance and any licences or certificates your trade requires, at all times including on the day of each event.

4.3 Bookings. A pitch is only yours when your booking is confirmed following successful payment. During checkout a pitch may be held briefly for you; if payment is not completed the hold lapses. Pitch details you provide (size, power, water, vehicle access) must be accurate — Organisers plan sites around them.

4.4 At the event. You must comply with the Organiser's site rules, arrival and departure times, and all applicable law (including food safety and gas safety law where relevant). The Organiser may refuse entry or require you to cease trading if your documents are invalid on the day or you breach site rules; in that case any refund is at the Organiser's discretion per their event terms.

4.5 Cancellation by you. Cancellation and refund treatment for stall bookings is set by the Organiser per event and shown before you book. Submit cancellation requests through the Platform.

5. Customers (tickets)

Tickets are issued on behalf of the Organiser and are subject to the Organiser's event terms shown at purchase. Tickets are delivered electronically with a unique code; you are responsible for keeping them accessible at entry and not duplicating them — the first valid scan admits. Tickets may not be resold commercially. Admission is subject to the Organiser's reasonable site rules.

6. Refunds & cancellations

6.1 Event cancelled by the Organiser: stall fees and ticket prices are refunded in full to the original payment method. Refunds are initiated through the Platform and typically arrive within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.

6.2 Event date changed: you will be notified. Stall Holders whose compliance documents do not cover the new date will be told what is required. If the new date does not work for you, you may cancel for a full refund within 14 days of the change notice.

6.3 Cancellation by a Stall Holder or Customer: governed by the Organiser's per-event policy displayed before purchase. Where no policy is displayed, stall fees are refundable up to 28 days before the event and tickets up to 7 days before the event, less any payment processing costs we cannot recover.

6.4 Weather and events outside anyone's control: outdoor events run in most weather. If an event is curtailed or cancelled for safety, the Organiser's policy applies; refunds for part-delivered events are at the Organiser's reasonable discretion.

6.5 Nothing in this section reduces your statutory rights.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. The Platform does not see or store full card details. Prices are shown in GBP inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated. Receipts are provided electronically. Organisers on paid Platform plans may be charged a transaction fee as agreed in their plan; this never increases the price shown to a Stall Holder or Customer.

8. Reviews and content you post

Reviews may only be left by verified attendees and are moderated before publication. Content you post (reviews, replies, profile text, images) must be honest, lawful, and free of abusive, defamatory or infringing material. You grant the Platform and the relevant Organiser a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Platform. We may decline or remove content that breaches this section. Stall Holders have a right of reply to reviews of their stall.

9. Acceptable use

You must not: misuse or attempt to circumvent security or booking limits; scrape or bulk-extract data; upload malicious files; use the Platform to send spam; impersonate others; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access to protect the service and its users.

10. Organisers

Organisers are additionally bound by the Organiser agreement presented at onboarding, and are solely responsible for: the lawful and safe delivery of their events (including their own public liability insurance, licences and permissions); the accuracy of their event listings; reviewing Stall Holder documents to their own satisfaction; their refund policies; and their obligations to attendees under consumer law.

11. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software and branding belong to Stuart Hooper trading as Buntico. Content posted by users belongs to them, licensed to us as described in section 8. Organiser and Stall Holder trade marks belong to their owners.

12. Service availability and liability

The Platform is provided with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may suspend the service for maintenance. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that: the Platform is not liable for the acts, omissions or events of Organisers or Stall Holders; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the Platform fees (not event monies) we received in respect of your use in that period.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, fraudulent documents, abusive conduct toward other users, or where required by law — with notice where reasonably practicable. You may close your account at any time; section 6 governs any live bookings and our Privacy Policy governs your data.

14. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to account holders with reasonable notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stands. These terms, the Privacy Policy and any role-specific agreement are the entire agreement between you and the Platform.
